about me
Hi, I’m Natalia. I’ve always had the heart of an entrepreneur, but until my first personal brand-based business, Destined Initiatives, I didn’t have the idea or vision with enough passion to drive me to take that leap into business for myself.
I launched Destined Initiatives (DI) in January 2018. It was only a far-fetched idea, until I committed in my heart to become that woman that God envisioned me to be before I was even formed in my mother’s womb. Before trauma. Before self-destructive decisions.
Honestly, when I started DI I was partially conscious of who I am and what my purpose is. And I knew that as I became more intimate with God, I’d discover more about who He created me to be.
Back then, I only had a glimpse of who I was becoming, I made strides towards the vision, and I had faith that I would see it manifested.
I refused to settle for the safe life that’s within the line of sight and predictability.
I decided to go for the walk by faith because I desired to reach my God-given potential.
I envisioned DI being a support group for Christian women. My thoughts were that anything is possible in Christ and with the support and accountability of others, women can overcome any and every challenge that they may face.
Then in 2020 I launched the Shift into Success Sisterhood.
In 2021 I designed the Shift into Success Planner and today with the new release of the Shift into Success Sisterhood and Queen Up community containers, I have so much clarity about who I am, what I’m here to build, and the purpose that God has destined me to fulfill.
It’s exciting and scary to say the least!
I’m still not where I want to be, but over the years there has been 3 major shifts in my life.
3 Major Shifts in My Life...
- The shift into my new identity in Christ. Before Christ, I was caught up in self-destruction - addictions to sex, alcoholism, and getting high. I fell prey to seeking these things out for a thrill and escape from my spiritual depression that was caused from my not knowing who I was and what my purpose was.
- The 2nd major shift in my life was away from religious complacency. This shift was characterized by saying no to the oppression of pleasing people, living up to other people’s expectations, a default marriage, toxic relationships and associations. Another theme in this shift was the realization that the peak of my worldly success was not & will not be attributed to my career in Corporate America and that Jesus is my CEO, the true Creator of wealth. This was a huge breakthrough for me and denotes my passion for entrepreneurship even the more.
- My 3rd and most recent shift is characterized by next level time and resource investments in the vision God has given me. I have made so many sacrifices of time, energy, and money so that I could align myself to prosper in my purpose. In this season of shifting, I've shed myself of roles and responsibilities that aren't pushing me in the direction I'm going in. I will say that this is a very groundbreaking season, but necessary shift. I've anticipated it for years, but now I'm here now!
I look forward to focusing on what matters most to me. Everything that God has been nurturing and grooming in my identity drove me to where I am now.
My personal brand has shifted from Destined Initiatives to Shift into Success and other various brand names to what is now simply my name, Natalia Powers.
My name, my personal brand is my mode of transportation from a life in which I felt obligated to spend the majority of my time on things pertaining to the status quo, in which everything else had to fall into place after the priorities to keep up with the status quo.
That kind of life is a tight squeeze. I was often stressed and in a hurry trying to get everything done and I never feel like I was giving anything all the attention needed because I was constantly juggling all my roles and responsibilities. So, it’s beyond time for a change.
God has confirmed that this is the move for me so many times. Right now it’s a matter of obedience to His calling for me.
As much as I’d like to think that this change, this rebrand, this shift in my life is an option and I can choose either or, there’s no other way out…
I’m either going to be obedient or disobedient to His instructions.
So again, here’s your invitation into my life.
