It’s time for me to speak up and tell on myself…
I set the intention to have weekly Go Live & Get Life Sessions every Tuesday’s at 9pm CST.
This intention was for 2 main reasons:
1. For self-development to:
- Overcome my fear of connecting with people live and online
- Get a consistent rhythm of my labor of love through Destined Initiatives
2. To share with everyone what God is speaking to me as He deals with me personally
But last week, I passively let Tuesday roll on by… Without doing or saying anything about canceling the Go Live & Get Life Session, I dropped the ball. I totally believe in giving myself grace when I need it, but I made a commitment and I didn’t do or say anything about the change in plans!
And I justified not even acknowledging the cancellation because I had a very difficult week.
CHECK OUT THE TIMING OF THINGS:
A couple from France, who is very dear to me, reached out to fast and pray with me about the battles I’ve been facing. God strengthened me mightily through our time of consecration.
The enemy witnessed this and other things and immediately began to retaliate for the following:
The initiatives that I set for fasting and praying
A powerful Live session during our last Go Live & Get Life Session
The commitment and momentum built for Destined Initiatives
BUT I WON’T BLAME IT ALL ON THE ENEMY…
In my despair of the attack I was going through, I ducked away from my commitments. I was busy sagging my tail, throwing fits and tantrums over the things that happened naturally and seemingly out of the blue. My days were full of me spinning in circles as I tried make sense out of the confusion that was happening around me.
Too busy complaining, I failed to allow God to bring the truth to the light of what was really happening. Finally, I started praying about the specific things I was experiencing and God showed me with clarity that I was making the enemy mad for this one reason…
I WAS BUILDING MOMENTUM.
And the devil didn’t like it, so he planned a plot to distract me with “random” chaos.
After relaying the issues of my heart to God, He blessed me with powerful insight as to what was happening in the realm of spiritual warfare. And I want to share it with you because when you set your heart to fulfilling your God-given purpose, the enemy will cause all hell to steal, kill, and destroy:
- The enemy is after our time, attention and most importantly, our momentum.
- When he sees our progression, he will try to turn the attention back to himself.
- The enemy will try to turn attention to himself by making noise and causing havoc through people, places, and things closest to us in strong attempts to frustrate our peace.
- His strategy consists of puffing himself up to make us believe the lie we are not as loved, secure, anointed, and covered as we should believe as the children of God.
- He’ll do all of this to put us in a state of confusion where we try to make sense out of no sense which is essentially us trying to understand spiritual warfare with a natural mind.
BUT ONCE WE TURN TO GOD,
LAY OUR BURDENS AT HIS FEET,
AND LISTEN TO WHAT HE HAS TO SAY,
GOD WILL REPLACE THE LIES OF THE ENEMY WITH TRUTH:
- We have no reason to fear
- We are eternally loved by God
- The battle is not ours, it’s the Lord’s
- Jesus has already overcome the world and as we abide in Him, He’ll show us how to overcome the world as well.
- We are empowered and have everything we need to overcome the power of the enemy
I want to encourage you.
Don’t stop pursuing God.
Don’t be afraid of the hell that the enemy throws your way. Become stronger through the exercising of your faith.
You are more than a conqueror through Jesus!
